I'm an inclusive and life-affirming celebrant. I specialise in weddings, vow renewals, and celebration of life ceremonies across Sussex and southeast England.
My approach will turn your stories into a unique, authentic and joyful ceremony that’s grounded in your values and presented with warmth and professionalism.
I can include traditional and modern elements. Rituals such as handfasting, unity candles, faith-inspired and bespoke family blessings can be blended into a beautiful script, leaving you and your guests with rich memories.
I first heard about celebrancy from a celebrant cousin whom I always found great company, so I was intrigued about this job that gave her scope to meet people and bring warmth, creativity and humour into her working life. And she had a castle as a place of work!
I took my cousin as inspiration and signed up for some training. I love the work and haven’t looked back since. Honestly, what an incredible job. It’s such a privilege to step into people’s lives at special moments, to hear their stories and hold the space for their special ceremonies.
What I bring to your ceremony
A celebrant-led event can of course involve some traditional elements but it doesn’t have to stick to words and behaviours that may not feel a good fit for you.
Whether you'd like humour woven throughout or prefer to keep things more formal; whether it’s poetry classics or the words of a pop song that you think make the perfect reading; whether you’d like to honour a religious heritage or you’d prefer to stick with the secular; my job is to create a ceremony that sets the right tone for you, and to deliver it with professionalism, warmth and confidence.
